@liketrueth: That's the point of the voting system, all the crappy old ones get voted to the bottom, and the good ones rise to the top. Works like magic.

The rest of your post is fluff and propaganda. They are the #1 coupon site for a reason - that reason being user-generated content... the public have themselves to thank for making it such a good site!

Love retailmenot !!!

Before I purchase anything on line, I check Reatailmenot. I have saved money on everyting from vitamins to car rentals. It is a easy to navigate and find what I am looking for. Not all the coupons work, all the time but I have had more work than not. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Retailmenot is 99.9% outdated information and search engine spam. It looks good, they spent money on advertising to journalists that have no clue.

Truth is:
1. hiding keywords in their HTML for search engine rankings. If you're a little technical look closer at their H2 tags.
2. most codes are outdated for sometimes years, they don't work (never did as many industry experts said: they entered them themselves randomly).
3. Why do they do that? Because they stuff a cookie on your browser each time you click on a link whether it works or not. Why would they keep their "unreliable" sections otherwise, really? With close to 0% success rate.
4. By the way, Stateless systems, the owner, was also sued countless times for hijacking content and passwords from other sites. That was their previous site named: bugmenot. What a REFERENCE!

Additionally, if you have a problem with them (they have no privacy policy) you can dream on since their US office is virtual and their HQ is in Australia.

Really don't deserve the hype and publicity that large PR campaigns, and journalists that have no clue how things work gave to them. Some of them fortunately started to understand.
There are many other great resources that actually don't try tricking their audience.

Hope to enlight the few that still keep repeating what big money PRs are saying without actually anylize in depth the truth of the matter.

RetailMeNot is great for finding online discount codes. I have found codes for free shipping for major retailers like JCPenny and Amazon. My favorite coupon codes are the 50% off codes. I used this site to do most of my Christmas shopping and I saved a lot of money. I highly recommend using this site for all online shoppers. It's also a great way to share coupon codes with other users.
