Zecco Review, Online Stock and Options Broker

Zecco is an online stock and options broker that offers 10 free trades each month if your account balance is $2,500 or more; otherwise, it’s $4.50 per trade. There’s no minimum to open an account with Zecco. Member FINRA/SIPC.

Zecco Trading has grown incredibly quickly since the launch in October of 2006. Since then, They’ve opened over 130,000 accounts and given away over 2.5 million free trades, providing their customers with the best deal in the industry.

Update

Due to last year’s market difficulties, retail stock and options trades as well as interest income have all been hit by the economic crisis. As a result, Zecco is increasing the minimum level of assets needed to earn 10 free trades per month to $25,000, effective March 1st, 2009. However, customers who make at least 25 total trades per month will also qualify for 10 free stock trades per month.

I have been using the Zecco online broker for just a little while now. I like using this particular broker because it’s been easy for me to understand what I need to do and keep my stock portfolio up-to-date. Getting set up was a breeze. I didn’t need that much money to get myself started and my account was done in no time flat. While I am not so happy that I have to pay 4.50 for each transaction, I’ve rarely had a problem with this broker. I do reccommend using Zecco for your online trades.
